Fighting against TERRORISM or Fighting against a NATION?
Hey guys and a girls...One issue that has off-late been popping up on my mind is whether we INDIANS are standing united against TERROR or opposing PAKISTAN as a nation. The media personnel and our government have always been concerned with the creation of PAKISTAN as the terrorist-Hub,or if i put it forth more straight, people more often say that the word PAKISTAN has lost its original meaning of a 'Sacred place',due to its terrorist connections, and now its another name for TERRORISM.But are we as citizens of one state India, correct in calling the natives of PAKISTAN as terrorists for no reason. Are all to be blamed for the actions of some?Is a country required to be destroyed for a feeling that is prevalent in some thousands or lacs?Is a country wrong in its actions or opinions, are the citizens of that country wrong,or is it that there are some who are polluting the minds of others, and those polluted minds need to be sent for a rehabilitation?
Post-Independence,India and Pakistan have been at war every few years, not because actually they wanted to,but because they were forced to.This is apparent from the fact that a country which was united Pre-1947,or i must say till early 1940's,could have survived peacefully as neighbours to each other,if this germ of terrorism would nit have infected on either sides. For some, who would love to take wrong at this point,i would say that,India is infected by this germ of terrorism,as in it has been a victim to it for long.As regards Pakistan,I would leave it to the citizens and civilians like me and you,of that state to decide,as we are unaware of the situations on the other side.
As and when, there have been attacks in India, and on Indians, the most recent and the most horrifying being the 26/11 Mumbai attacks, people have been blaming Pakistan as a country for the same.In this regard,i would like to make you aware, the other nation too has people like us,they too are scared of the same disease.I would like to tell you that a friend of mine,an Indian, was associated with a project of the British Council, named 'Beyond Borders'-which consisted of participants from 5 Asian states including India, and Pakistani delegates were there too.She has her own version of her own interaction with the pakistani delegates, which has made her Anti-Terrorism,and not Anti-Pakistan..
Not stretching this too far,i would just like tgo appeal to all the responsible citizens of the world, that we can FIGHT A FEELING AND WIN A STATE(as a good neighbour).

well...to a certain extent i agree with you RJ...the civilians there are just like us....they also have sentiments, they also love and they also want friendship with us....
but the thing is.....the state there and the media there is so involved in India bashing....that I doubt they think the same like us.....
and why most of the terrorists are coming from that country only...after all its not the only islamic state in the world....c'mon the army there and the government there has only one dream .....that is to destroy India....so if we blame Pakistan for Terrorism....then are we really wrong ???
n i again reiterate...I love Pakistanis and I really pity for the plight of the ladies there....who wanna study but are not allowed to....who wanna come out of those burkhas.....but cant.....
so all in all....civilians of that country are just like us....but the state and the terrorism in that country are dating each other.
See i just wanted to put forth my view of being not against a state, but against that germ, that feeling, that disease of terrorism, and i guess that incase if i can put a person like you to thought, after this post, then surely i have made a difference.
what do you mean by :
"A PERSON LIKE ME"......
do i come from pluto....or do i look like marx or lenin....
RJ, sometimes and ya sometimes I think too...
Well i agree to the fact that the fight should be against terrorism not against any country.....
A complement to Reema for this post... issue is worth NDTV Big Fight!
U wont believe that certain humans (i dont have a better designation for them) label me as 'Anti Indian' just for the fact that i am never against Pak but only against the certain percentage of population that engage in terrorism. Though dat doesn’t make much difference to me (coz i'll still remain a true indian)...but yes it does bring to notice their narrow mindedness! I personally believe that we should hate the sin, not the sinner.
But having alleged this, I cant also run away from the bitter reality that Shailesh pointed out… ‘Monopolistic Pak State & Media’ is the biggest ‘Anti Indian’ forum…& thereby isn’t it pretty natural for a ‘common man’ in India to give a similar knocking in return?
Nevertheless we should not forget that: It takes two to quarrel, but only one to end it. A presumptuous step towards peace & friendship should always be welcomed…
i hope people of both nations understand this well...Thanx for your comment shalini
I wont mind contesting a debate on this topic...rather we blogger friends can arrange for a healthy BIG FIGHT on this issue.... am game
and ya in that fight, shailesh would debate just for the sake of debating
why not...after all life gets really boring without those fruitful debates and discussions...
shailesh..i simply like ur attitude of fighting without any reason..Keep it up!
It would have been really better ajay,if you would have commented on the issue taken up on this post...Thanks anyways......
@removed post
